On this page (https://support.sodaq.com/sodaq-one/sff/) you can find how to upgrade the SFF R410M to the newest Ublox firmware by soldering an USB cable to the board.
But how can this be done on the SFF R412M ? The board has a slightly different design.
Thanks for the info. I soldered the cable to the board and I do not get an extra device in my device manager on W10. I swapped the white and green cables without success. I measured my USB cable and it was ok.
I observed something strange: when I measure the GND on the board there is no connection between the GND of the Arduino and the GND/Black where I solder my cable. Can you test that on a module that you have ?
Windows should install the drivers needed for you. Check if Windows update have something pending for you.
Reboot your pc.
If you still don’t have the device shown, install the drivers manually.
This is because of the reverse voltage protection.
