Hi,

I want to monitorize the wind and wind direction and I’m planning to use this

for the board. I’m using One platform and I would like to know if you think I could use this element in my one.

Dear Eduard,

We have been using these in the past and yes, you can wire them up to a SODAQ ONE. But the quality of these is quite bad and in fact the pricing of these sensors at Sparkfun is actually very high. I would rather spend a bit more and use for instance the Anemometer and rainbucket that Davis sells. Or for just rain try the Pronamic http://pronamic.com/products/rain-o-matic-small.aspx which is way better than the Sparkfunrain bucket.

I was reading to connect a Davis to an Arduino, but Davis uses 5V and our One is 3,3V. How could we work it?
