Sodaq One regonized as Sodaq SARA in Arduino IDE

Hey everyone,

I have a question about the sodaq one. When I connect the Sodaq ONE to my laptop it gets recognized as a Sodaq SARA in Arduino. Is this correct or not? And if not how do I fix this?

This is correct, the Arduino IDE will recognize it as the first SAMD board.
With only the SODAQ SAMD boardfiles installed it will show up as the SARA.
When you install for example the Arduino SAMD boards, the ONE will show up as an Arduino Zero.

Hey Jan,

Thanks for the quick reponse! The reason I asked was because when I try to upload code to the Sodaq ONE I get a SAM-BA operation failed error. Any idea how this can be fixed?

Most times the problem is the Arduino IDE, please download and install the latest version.
