Hi

Does anyone succeeded connecting SARA to AWS? I have tried, but no luck.

Did you already manage to get the R412M to work with AWS?
As SODAQ we don’t have any examples for AWS at the moment.

Hi Jan,

No luck so far. Loading rootCA, client certificate and private key success. Also making a profile for secure connection works. MQTT Ping also works. When I try to make secure TCP/IP connection, it fails and after that MQTT publishing fails.

I would greatly appreciate if you could help connect to AWS.

I don’t know how soon we can make an example. We don’t have an AWS Account at the moment.

Hi Jan,

Nice to hear that you’re working with this. We have two projects where mobile devices are connected to AWS cloud. Sodaq SARA R412M has features that are needed, but connection is problem.

Hi Jan,

Do you have plans when you start making an AWS example?
For us AWS communication is critical for the future. We are looking for a cellular device which can be connected to AWS.

I think that there are others that are interested in AWS connection.

I have put it on the list, but since we don’t have an AWS account, I can’t test anything at the moment.
So please don’t wait for us to continue, maybe you can share a small log file to show where you get an issue. I hope the log is enough to help you forward.
