SARA N211 Firmware clarifications

Dear Sodaq support team,

I have recently bought a NB-IoT Shield DeLuxe - Dual Band 8 & 20.
I would like to know whether the firmware shipped with the Sodaq nb-iot shield and the firmware we can find here http://support.sodaq.com/fwupg/SARA-N2xx-02B_FW_U06_57_A03.02_ES.zip is provided untouched from u-blox or there are some modification from Sodaq.
Is there a public place from u-blox where we can download the firmware? I would also like to know if a firmware downgrade is possible.

Waiting for the new firmware.
However now I can clarify why I asked for this: the firmware was performing suspicious scary things, but now they seem to be in part explained with the new documentation.
