Hi,

I know that Vodafone is going to implement NB-IoT in the UK on band20.

Please contact Vodafone yourself to see if you can get a simcard and where you can use the network.

Dear Jan, Thank you kindly for the response. Can you please explain the significance of band20? Does that mean the products you sell will not work in the UK on Vodafone’s network? Thanks, MC

Dear MC,

We have a dualband version supporting band 8 and band 20. These bands will be the main two band for NB-IoT in Europe. This board will work in the UK on Vodafone’s network.

  • Adam Armer, LPWA & Satellite Manager, Vertical Market Development at Vodafone IoT (Reading)
  • Ivo Rook, Group Director IoT at Vodafone (Reading)
  • Johan Wibergh is the Group Chief Technology Officer (London)

Hi Jan,

the link you attached states that bands 8 and 20 are supported. Which of the two statements is the correct one?

PS: Is there any way to display which band is currently being used?

8 and 20 are both for Europe.
